Why I block ads

Ever since I found out I could block ads, I have. I've even gone out of my way to download Firefox extensions like Stylish to let me write my own styles that block ads not caught by AdBlock. I popped over to NBC Chicago's weather page to see the forecast for tonight and was painfully reminded that I had forgotten to re-enable AdBlock after disabling it for another project.
With ads
My eyes! So much yellow…so much movement…such a loud video that I can't pause, stop, or remove…
Without ads
And people wonder why I hate ads.

I hate ads on unnecessary spaces. I am using Adblock plus but it seems to block my Google adwords ads during Google search. So, I just disable it & sometimes forget to enable it. Bombarding of ads can create irritation to users. What you think about it.
