Caxton machine

A Single-Cylinder Gripper Machine invented by Mr. Myers, a practical printer and engineer of Southampton, i which the rollers are loose, and are inked from a table affixed to the carriage of the press. The ink table travels with the carriage, so that the forme and table pass under the rollers alternately.
