Undulated Nanodes

Nanodes undulatus

A little species scarcely exceeding seven inches, approaching the Ground Parrot in colour and appearance and linking the genera, its habits presumed like those of its congeners though little is recorded. The head and nape are yellowish-green with fine dark undulating lines, each cheek bearing a small azure-blue patch, the upper body oil-green with darker undulations, the lower plain yellowish-green, and the bill and legs grey.
