Shetland Pony

The Scottish or Shetland ponies are so diminutive that some scarcely exceed a large dog in size and have actually been carried in a gig. Many are handsome shaggy little animals with huge manes and abundant tails, found in all colours, though the original dun stock is plainly perceptible as their parent race.
