Chlamyphorus truncatus

This little animal has ten teeth on each side above and below, five toes on every foot, and very large, sharp, compressed claws on the fore feet. Its back is covered by transverse scaly pieces broken into zones, attached to the body only along the spine, the hinder parts protected in a truncated shape with the tail secured beneath; it was discovered in Chili.
