White Maimon

Macacus (Maimon) Brachyurus

Nearly destitute of tail and about two feet high, the White Maimon is clothed entirely in close white fur, with flesh coloured muzzle, ears, and callosities, and pale buff upper surfaces to its four hands. Said to come from India, it ranks among the Macacus, near the tailless magots and the long muzzled Baboons and Mandrills.
