Black-Breasted Humming-Bird (Young)

Trochilus gramineus

In this earlier state the upper parts are golden green, changing to brownish on the forehead, while a black streak marks the forepart of the neck, showing a few green scaly feathers through it. The black is bordered with white clouded by grayish and reddish spots, the flanks green tinged with brown, and the outer tail feathers end in a white spot.
