Colors of World Flags

An exploration of color combinations used in world flags

A different way of looking at the flag

Flags are arranged by the most common combinations of colors. Colors and combinations are arranged in a spectrum-like order: red, orange, yellow, green, and blue, with black and white at the end. The more flags that have a combination of colors, the higher that combination appears above the others. Countries, dependent territories, and autonomous regions are included.
